Support Pablo Yuri and his family
This is the story of Pablo Yuri. In 2019, when Pablo was 16 years old, he was battling a severe depression.
He then tried to take his own life by strangulation.
He survived the suicide attempt but due to a lack of oxygen to the brain, he is in this situation today.
He needs medical attention, such as visits to the doctor and physiotherapist.
Pablo's food is not cheap, because he can no longer eat normally.
He receives his daily food through an IV.

About us
The goal of Vida Eterna is to help the underprivileged in Brazil through food and access to medicine. We focus in particular on the homeless in the streets and on people in the Amazon who suffer from diseases such as Malaria and Deng.

Welcome to Vida Eterna, a charity organization committed to creating a better future for Brazil's most impoverished population. Our heart lies in Brazil, where many people face homelessness and lack of food and medicine every day. Our mission is simple but powerful – to provide relief, hope and renewed opportunity to these members of Brazilian society.
They often lack access to basic needs such as nutrition and access to medical care. Vida Eterna believes in the potential of every person to rise again and grow and flourish, regardless of their background.
We focus primarily on the pillars of Nutrition and Health: A healthy body is the basis for a healthy mind. We provide nutritious meals and access to medical care.

How did we start?
The Birth of an Ideal: How “Vida Eterna” Came to Be
The story of “Vida Eterna” started as a spark in my heart, ignited by my own experience as a poor Brazilian child and my knowledge and experience of poverty in Brazil in general. I follow my passion and heart and that is why I started the “Vida Eterna” foundation.
The name itself carries the promise of an everlasting impact – a legacy of hope and opportunity for those who desperately need it.
I know I cannot do it alone and the support of supporters, volunteers and donors is invaluable in bringing this ideal to life. The path forward may not be without challenges, but we are determined to make a change.

My name is Seila Dias Melo
I am the founder of Vida eterna. Born and raised in Brazil. Came to the Netherlands as a young adult. My thoughts often turn to Brazil and the people there. Together with my husband Sjaak Res and my daughter Laura Res, who help as volunteers, we want to help as many people as possible in Brazil.

The Vida Eterna foundation aims to help poor and sick people in Brazil with food and medicine, with a focus on Goiânia and the Amazon region.
The Vida Eterna foundation will generate income by recruiting sponsors, people who want to support the charity, with a financial contribution to the charity.

For the board/policymakers
In the start-up phase, the capital will be fully used to achieve the good goal, i.e. spent on food and medicine. As soon as more structure is created, for example in the form of contacts and more constant assistance, remaining capital will be reserved for this.
There is no reward, only reimbursement of expenses.
